Presentation and Objectives
Intelligent Systems: Theories and applications (SITA) is a conference for the presentation, the discussion and the dissemination of theories and applications of intelligent systems. It is the result of fruitful cooperation between many universities and institutions. This conference brings together leading scientists, researchers and academics in Intelligent Systems from around the world. ... show more This conference aims at presenting the latest research works dealing with up-to-date and emerging theories of Intelligent Systems using connectionist and symbolic approaches (Knowledge Based Systems , Soft Computing, Fuzzy Logics, Neural Networks, Genetic Algorithms, etc.) together with their applications in different engineering fields: Computing, Telecommunications, Networking, Robotics, Manufacturing, Health care, Data Mining, Big Data, Image, Video and Audio Processing, Pattern Recognition. Emphasis will be particularly laid on the contribution of these new theories in solving the complex problems that many scientific and industrial communities encounter.
Submission
Authors are invited to send their original and previously
unpublished papers (6 pages maximum) in English following the ACM template:
word or latex.
All papers will be blind reviewed by the Technical Program Committee and acceptance will be based on quality, relevance and originality. All accepted and presented papers at SITA’18 will be published in the Conference Proceedings.
The submission guidelines can be found on the conference website. Extended versions of selected papers will be considered for possible publication in scholarly Journals. Research still in early stages and doctoral research proposals may be submitted as extended abstracts.

Accepted abstracts will be included in a special poster session.
The conference will host Smart Robots and Smart Applications demos.
Full papers should be submitted in PDF format to the SITA'18 EasyChair online submission website.
Malpractice and Ethics
The Intelligent Systems: Theories and Applications (SITA) conference, publishes peer reviewed articles dealing with up-to-date and emerging theories and practice of Intelligent Systems using connectionist and symbolic approaches (Knowledge Based Systems, Soft Computing, Fuzzy Logics, Neural Networks, Genetic Algorithms, etc.) together with their applications in different engineering fields: Computing, Telecommunications, Networking, Robotics, Manufacturing, Health care, Data Mining, Big Data, Image, Video and Audio Processing, Pattern Recognition. ... show more SITA conference expects all parties participating in the publication of its Proceedings to commit to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. SITA’s policies of publication ethics are based on existing Elsevier policies and COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors. SITA is checking all papers in a single-blind peer review process. It does not tolerate Plagiarism and research fabrication (making up research data); falsification (manipulation of existing research data, tables, or images) or any other unethical behavior. Any manuscript that does not meet these standards will be removed from the proceedings even after the publication. Cases of suspected plagiarism or duplicate publishing will be reported. SITA therefore expects conformance to standards of ethical behavior from all parties involved: Authors, Reviewers and Editorial Board for which it has developed the following responsibilities.
